Youth Rec Soccer for Northeast Seattle

House League (U7-U9)

The LVR House League soccer program is designed for the early / beginner soccer player, typically starting at age 6 (under 7, or U7) through age 8 (U9).  It's a natural progression from the Player Academy (U6) program.

Starting at age 6 (typically first grade), LVR registrars assign players to boys and girls teams based on their school, neighborhood, or other factors.  The program involves 1 practice per week with a game each weekend and runs for 8 weeks.  Games begin the weekend after Labor Day and finish by the end of October.  Teams typically begin practicing at the end of August or the first week of September.

As a recreational soccer program, players of all abilities are welcome to participate.  There are no tryouts.  Coaching is provided by volunteer coaches -- typically parents of players.  If you are interesting in having your son or daughter participate in this program, we encourage you to consider coaching or helping out as a team manager.

Games are played at Eckstein Middle School against other LVR House League teams.  As such, this is an "in-house" league.

Practices are typically held once per week on a day that works best for the coach and team.  Practice fields that we typically use include Eckstein, Dahl Field, Upper View Ridge (elementary school) and Thornton Creek.
